Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Rayfold is operated by Introva LLC. Throughout this document “we”, “us” and “Rayfold” mean that company, and “you” means the person using the service. You can reach us at email@rayfold.ai.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Rayfold account. If you use Rayfold on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

3. Your account

You sign up with an email address and password, and confirm the address with a verification code we email you. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

We may suspend or close an account being used to break these terms, to abuse the service, or in a way that puts other users or our providers at risk.

4. Your content stays yours

You own everything you put into Rayfold - your resume, work history, portfolio copy, project descriptions, uploaded files and profile picture. We do not claim ownership of any of it.

To run the service we need your permission to store, copy, display and process that content: to render your resume as a PDF, build and host your portfolio, generate a roadmap, or send the relevant text to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy. That permission is limited to operating and improving Rayfold for you, lasts only while your content is on the service, and ends when you delete it. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train our own models.

If you publish a portfolio you are making that content public, and you are responsible for what it contains - including having the right to use any text, images or logos in it.

5. AI-generated output

Rayfold uses large language models to draft resume content, portfolio copy, interview questions, feedback and career roadmaps. This output is assistive, not authoritative. It can be wrong, outdated, generic or inappropriate for your situation.

• Review and edit everything before you send it to an employer or publish it.
• Nothing Rayfold produces is professional career, recruitment, immigration, financial or legal advice.
• We do not guarantee any outcome - no interview, no offer, no ranking in any applicant tracking system.
• Similar prompts can produce similar output for different users, so we cannot promise your generated content is unique.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your experience, qualifications or identity in content you generate and send to employers.
• Upload another person’s resume or personal data without their permission.
• Publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
• Use Rayfold to build phishing pages, malware, scams or anything designed to deceive visitors.
• Attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, the build sandbox or any other technical restriction; probe or attack our infrastructure; or scrape the service at scale.
• Resell or white-label Rayfold output as your own product without a written agreement.

7. Plans, credits and billing

Rayfold has a free tier and paid plans. AI features consume credits, which are reserved when a job starts and settled when it finishes; if a job fails, the reservation is released. Your plan determines your credit allowance and which features you can reach.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. We never receive or store your card number. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.

Fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we have clearly failed to deliver the service. If you think you have been charged in error, email us - we would rather fix it than argue about it.

We may change prices. If a change affects your active subscription we will tell you before it applies, and you can cancel instead of accepting it.

8. Availability and changes

We are an actively developed product. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance or because of a failure at one of our providers. We do not offer a formal uptime guarantee on any plan.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it removes your account, resumes, portfolios and related data, and unpublishes anything you have published. This is irreversible - export anything you want to keep first.

We may end your access if you materially break these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we shut Rayfold down we will give reasonable notice and a window to export your data.

10. Disclaimer

Rayfold is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rayfold is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost job offers or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as permitted, and nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in New York City, New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change is significant we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Rayfold after that means you accept the new terms.
